- 2002, Doctoral Degree in Physics (solid state physics), Institute of Physics UMCS; PhD thesis title: 'Electron transport in quantum dot systems' supervisied by Prof. Dr. hab. Ryszard Taranko;
- habilitation, thesis title:   'Electrical conductance and charge waves in atomic chains'.

Research interest:

Quantum dots, quantum chains, stationary and time dependent electron transport through low-dimensional systems, charge waves, conductance oscillations, quantum and spin pumps, STM conductance, decoherence in qubits, charge qubit detectors;
