We know the winners of the Lublin City Award in the field of sport

We are pleased to announce that prof—dr hab. Stanisław Michałowski - UMCS rector in the years 2012–2020 and Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik - AZS UMCS Lublin player received the Lublin City Awards in the field of sport. The Mayor of Lublin, Dr Krzysztof Żuk, presented the laureates with the awards on 24th June this year during the Session of the Lublin City Council.

Prof. dr hab. Stanisław Michałowski received the Award of the City of Lublin for coaches and other people distinguished by achievements in sports activities and meritorious in achieving high sports results by players in recognition of the merits for the development of academic sports in Lublin and the support shown to the players translating into their excellent results in sports competition academic, competitive sports, individual and team sports. In turn, Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik was awarded the Lublin City Award for players achieving the highest sports results in 2020. On behalf of the winner, the award was collected by her representative from AZS UMCS Lublin.
