we would invite you to our first series of webinars "Women in Journalism" in cooperation with the EKN and a guest Mrs Julia Haas, Project Officer at the OSCE Office on Freedom of the Media.

    • dr hab. Wojciech Ziętara, prof. UMCS - Dean of Faculty of Political Science and Journalism,
    • prof. dr hab. Marek Pietraś - Director of Institute of Political Science and Administration.
  • Presentations, Q&A, and discussion:
    • Julia Haas (International Law and Human Rights Expert) presentation on the Safety of Female Journalists Online (SOFJO) Project from the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media (RFoM);
    • Discussion on the documentary A Dark Place (2018, Director: Javier Luque Martinez);
    • Ayla Novruzova (2nd year student – MA in International Relations): "Challenges Women face in Journalism";
    • Anastasiia Zhornik (2nd year student - MA in International Relations): "Women in Military Journalism".

NB: Interested participants who would like to watch the documentary (A Dark Place) should register via google forms and later access details will be sent.
