Murat Mengü graduated from Middle East Technical University with a degree in English Language and Literature in 1988 and completed his master's degree at Marmara University's Atatürk Faculty of Education in the Department of English Language Education from 1993 to 1995. Between 1998 and 2004, he earned his PhD from Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio-TV-Cinema. He became an associate professor in Communication Studies in 2017 and a full professor in 2022. He has lectured on Media Literacy, Intercultural Communication, Communication Sociology, Cinema Theories, Criticism in Cinema-Television, Social Behavior, and Protocol Rules, as well as Communication Theories. He is currently working at Istanbul Arel University in the Faculty of Communication, Department of New Media and Communication. |
