Summer Courses for Beneficiaries of the NAWA Programme

Summer Courses of the Polish Language and Culture for Beneficiaries of the NAWA Programme are designed both for those who intend to start learning Polish and for those who wish to improve their Polish language skills. Classes are held in small homogenous groups based on language competence, at four levels: for beginners, intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced students (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1). Additional tutorials are available to students who need individual help.

In July 2019 The Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin is organising:

3-week Summer Course of the Polish Language and Culture for Beneficiaries of the NAWA Programme

8 – 29 July 2019

Students qualified for the course, will receive free of charge:

● intensive Polish language classes (60 hrs.) with experienced teachers of Polish as a foreign language,

● lectures on Polish history and culture (offered in both Polish and English)

● thematic workshops,

● presentations of Polish movies,

● trips to interesting places: a sightseeing tour of Lublin’s Old Town and Castle, the Holy Trinity Chapel, the Martyrdom Museum of Majdanek (the former Nazi concentration camp), the Museum of Lublin Village and the Botanical Garden. A trip to Zamość and Roztocze National Park. Visits to Kozłówka (the Zamoyski Family Museum and a unique collection of social-realistic art) and Kazimierz, the town of painters situated by the Vistula River. A bonfire in the village of Wojciechów.

● integration and cultural events (including meetings with Poles),

● accommodation in double rooms in a modern dormitory, with acces to the Internet

● meals (3 a day),

● PLN 500 scholarship

● handbooks, diplomas and certificates of attendance.

The participants of the course shall arrive in Lublin at their own expense. Each participant should insure himself/herself individually for the time of their stay in Poland.

● lectures on Polish history and culture (offered in both Polish and English)

● thematic workshops,

● presentations of Polish movies,

● trips to interesting places: a sightseeing tour of Lublin’s Old Town and Castle, the Holy Trinity Chapel, the Martyrdom Museum of Majdanek (the former Nazi concentration camp), the Museum of Lublin Village and the Botanical Garden. A trip to Sandomierz and Krzyżtopór. A trip to Zamość and Roztocze National Park.
