New members of the Young Scientists Council

On January 9, the first meeting of the Young Scientists Council took place this year, during which new participants received diplomas of membership in the Council. The appointments were presented by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Hab. Radosław Dobrowolski, and the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Hab. Wiesław Gruszecki, to the following persons:

- dr hab. Adrian Niewęgłowski, Institute of Legal Sciences
- mgr Monika Raczkiewicz, Institute of Chemical Sciences
- dr Cezary Rudnicki, Institute of Philosophy
- mgr Piotr Kosela, Institute of Computer Science
dr Sylwia Stączek, Institute of Biological Sciences
dr Michał Sułek, Institute of Biological Sciences
- mgr Adrian Szałkowski, Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management

Congratulations to all newly appointed members of the Young Scientists Council!

During the meeting, the Chairwoman of the Council, Dr. Lyubov Klapkiv from the Institute of Economics and Finance of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, presented the events and scientific initiatives that the RMN implemented in 2024. Additionally, the plans for the activities of the Council of Young Scientists for the current year were discussed, which include, among others, continuing the series of meetings "On Science Without Tension" with leading researchers from various fields and implementing a new project on work-life balance, which will be led by Dr. Magdalena Boczkowska, the originator of the initiative.
