World Vice-Champion - Adrianna Sułek at the meeting with the Rector of UMCS

On Tuesday (March 29), Adrianna Sułek, a journalism and social communication student at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at UMCS, received personal congratulations from His Magnificence Rector of UMCS, professor Radosław Dobrowolski. The meeting took place in the "Trójka" co-working zone (UMCS Academic Canteen). The Rector handed her a financial award for outstanding sports achievement in recognition of the multibody.

Let us remind you that on March 18, Adrianna Sułek won the silver medal during the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade. He also improved the 24-year-old Polish pentathlon record previously belonging to Urszula Włodarczyk.

This one is now 4851 points. As she admits: "I believe that I will reach the limit of 5,000 points." Only a few succeed in this art. However, the competitor of AZS UMCS Lublin has always been hanging the bar high.

The silver in the indoor world championships is a tremendous success in her career. - This medal satisfies me very much. I am also satisfied with the whole story, that I had four starts at a high level, that my disposition was getting better from start to start. While going to the championship as a three-time leader of the world lists, I believed that a gold medal would hang around my neck - she admits.

There will be no lack of chances for more victories. After the indoor season, it is time to move to the stadium. Adrianna Sułek is still waiting for the world and European championships this year.
