- For over half a century, our Centre has been a place where students not only develop creatively but also acquire practical competencies for future work in the broadly understood area of culture. We are delighted to support this process thanks to the invitation from the National Centre for Culture to co-organize the 2nd Work in Culture Forum. We will be pleased to host the participants of this unique meeting in our Lublin Chatka Żaka - comments Izabela Pastuszko, director of UMCS Chatka Żaka.

The theme of this year's Forum “Work in the Culture” - Pracuj w Kulturze is Young in the labour market. The invited experts will discuss, inter alia, about:

- For many years, the National Centre for Culture has been taking steps to develop and professionalize our industry. We provide financial support to entities from the cultural sector and share our knowledge and experience. We undertake various activities developing the competencies of animators and other people employed or cooperating with cultural institutions and organizations. Students and graduates also use them.

In response to their expectations, the website pracujwkulturze.nck.pl was created. It is a natural continuation of NCK activities supporting the development of this sector. Under the banner of “Kadry Kultury”, we also run a very intensive program of training and webinars to raise the competencies of people of culture. At the moment, we have over 50 webinars available online for free. As part of cyclical projects, Invite us to you!

And the Polish Project Exchange, we share best practices in the industry. It is not only the implementation of our mission but also a great satisfaction thanks to initiatives such as Forum Work in Culture or Practice.

In Culture, we can both support cultural institutions and help young people find their place in the labour market in Poland - emphasizes prof. Rafał Wiśniewski, director of the National Centre for Culture.

During the two-day conference, there will be presentations, debates, on-site and online workshops, and webinars on the marketing approach to culture, managing a team in a cultural institution, or managing your own image.
