Retrospective exhibition by prof. pcs plastic Jacek Wojciechowski on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of his creative work

We cordially invite you to the jubilee exhibition of prof. pcs plastic Jacek Wojciechowski! The vernissage will occur on 1st April 2022 at 6 PM (City Project -1) at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin. The exhibitions will be on display until 22nd May 2022.

"War is coming from the east. What can I say to those who do not want it? Not much ... I'm not a pacifist, but I'm not prepared for war. My paintings (apart from two - "I am waging war against Poland" and "A cloud of deadly chlorine were approaching our mud-filled trenches") promote peace. I paint what is in my heart, and there is no place for violence, but this will undoubtedly change; I will paint pictures about war! I present to you some of what was created from 1998 - to 2022.

Recently, Małgosia Pawlak said to me that I love painting, and I am very grateful to her for it because she made me realize that it is! I hope to manage to convey this dose of love to you. Look carefully at every detail, trifle, a colour that defines the atmosphere of the painting, at the composition that conveys the drama of the whole, on the matter - spots, lines, roughness. I label my works because they tell what matured in my head during my long work on each of the paintings "- exhibition author Jacek Wojciechowski.
