on the possibility of picking up personal belongings left at UMCS dormitories in Lublin by persons who have left them due to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus

I would like to kindly inform you that people interested in collecting personal belongings left at UMCS student dormitories will be able to do so after registering for a specific date and time, from July 9 - July 24 (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).

Registration will start on July 7 this year. dormitory employees by e-mail or telephone. Telephone numbers and e-mail addresses for the administration of student dormitories are available at: https://www.umcs.pl/pl/akademik.ht

Personal items will be collected according to the following rules:

1) between 8 a.m-2 p.m accordance with the date and time of entry to the student's home agreed for the individual;

2) only healthy people may pick up their belongings;

3) persons with symptoms characteristic of COVID-19 (cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, muscle aches, rash) or people taking medicine that lower body temperature (containing paracetamol, ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or derivatives) may not pick up the items

4) at the entrance to the dormitory people will be required to measure their body temperature (non-contact thermometer, if available at the reception desk);

5) no more than 25 people planning to pick up their personal belongings can enter each dormitory during one day

6) the person collecting their personal belongings is required to have gloves, a mask and to keep a safe distance from other people (min. 2 m);

7) the person collecting personal belongings is obliged to take all their belongings from the room and settle accounts with the dormitory administration, including, among others: passing bedclothes, checking out, returning the resident's card, making any payments. In case of overpayments for a place in a dormitory, the funds paid will be returned by August 14, 2020 to the account indicated by the person leaving the dormitory;

8) upon arrival for picking up personal belongings - in particularly justified cases with the consent of the Head of a given dormitory or a person indicated by them - it will be possible to stay for no more than 1 day. Only UMCS student / PhD student can use the accommodation. The place of possible accommodation is indicated by the head of dormitory. There is no possibility of accommodation in the following dormitories: "Amor", "Babylon", "Grześ" and "Zana". People who will collect their belongings from the abovementioned student houses, in the event of a justified necessity to use accommodation for no more than one day, will be directed to other facilities - in particular to “Kronos”. Payment for accommodation regardless of dormitory will be 40 PLN.

The coronary virus epidemic situation requires that the collecting personal belongings and reporting to the student housing administration should be smooth and take no more than 1 hour.

Items of people who do not collect personal belongings within the indicated period, except for the persons mentioned in point 3, will be packed in a commission and placed in warehouses in a given student residence. Items can be collected after an appointment has been made with the management of the administration of a given student dormitory.

At the same time, I would like to inform you that the University reserves the right to revoke or modify the rules adopted in this announcement in case of any changes to the generally applicable provisions related to the state of the epidemic.
