Professor Zbigniew Pastuszak in the Council of Innovative Social and Economic Development in Lublin

We are pleased to announce that dr hab. Zbigniew Pastuszak, prof. UMCS, vice-rector for development and cooperation with the economy UMCS was appointed to the Council for Innovative Social and Economic Development in Lublin. It is a new social opinion-giving and advisory body to the Mayor of Lublin to consult on matters related to Lublin's socio-economic development and take initiatives in this regard.

The Council was appointed for the duration of the President's term of office and will include ten specialists in the economy from Lublin universities. Apart from prof. Zbigniew Pastuszak, the new body, included:

  • dr Mariusz Sagan, director of the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship - Lublin City Hall;
  • dr Maria Mazur, vice-rector for general affairs - University of Entrepreneurship and Administration in Lublin;
  • dr hab. Eng. Bartosz Sołowiej, prof. UP, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation - University of Life Sciences in Lublin;\dr Sylwester Bogacki, prof. WSEI, dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences - University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin;
  • Małgorzata Baran-Sanocka, administrative director - John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, plenipotentiary of the rector of the Catholic University of Lublin for cooperation with the Lublin City Hall and the Marshal's Office of the Lublin Province;
  • prof. Dr hab. n. med. Robert Rejdak, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Digitization - Medical University of Lublin;
  • prof. Dr hab. Eng. Anna Halicka - Lublin University of Technology;
  • Henryk Stefanek, president and chancellor - Wyższa Szkoła Społeczno-Przyrodnicza im. Wincentego Pola in Lublin;
  • dr Maria Bernat, prof. WSNS - Higher School of Social Sciences with its seat in Lublin.
