Earth Day 2025 – In Pictures

The Earth Day 2025 celebrations at our Faculty lasted four days and featured a wide range of scientific, educational, and outdoor activities. The main event, held on April 25 at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management, included over 50 sessions such as lectures, workshops, field games, and film screenings, attracting about 800 students from various schools. Highlights included e.g. guest lectures by traveler Piotr Strzeżysz and a public debate on energy issues. A nature-themed film competition for high school students also concluded during the event. The celebrations culminated next day, in a tree-planting campaign in the Janów Forests, where students and staff planted 5,400 pine saplings.
