On July 6-7, 2019, Dr. Paweł Pasierbiak from the Department of World Economy and European Integration participated in a scientific conference entitled ‘New Leadership, New Priorities – the EU in 2019’. The conference was organized in Shanghai, China, by one of the most renowned Chinese universities – Fudan University and by the European Union Studies Association Asia-Pacific (EUSA AP, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand). The conference gathered quite a large group (see photo) of international specialists dealing, among others, with European integration, Asian integration, and international relations in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Several dozen scientific papers were delivered and discussed during the conference, and a workshop for doctoral students was also held.
