DT.Uni: recruitment

The MCSU Centre for Research and International Cooperation invites researchers and academics to take part in the international workshop on design thinking in Dresden, 9-13 April. The workshop is a part of the DT.Uni: Design Thinking Approach for an Interdisciplinary University project co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme.

In the course of this workshop we want to improve the participants’ abilities to think in a divergent, creative and designerly way and to develop their abilities to include the design thinking approach into the teaching process. In particular, we want to apply and test didactic material for Design Thinking processes that you and your colleagues can apply to your audience e.g. students.

The target audience of the training course are researchers and academics who meet the following criteria:

  1. work at MSCU as university teachers,
  2. speak English at a degree allowing uninhibited communication (B2),
  3. conduct classes for students,
  4. shall undertake to carry out workshops for other researchers and academics (autumn 2018, 4 participants shall be obliged to train a total of at least 30 people).

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. The participants shall receive a lump sum to reimburse their costs of stay (100 EUR per day) and their travel to and from Dresden (275 EUR).

All willing to take part in the workshop are asked to fill in the application form before 26th January 2018. After the applications are reviewed, the candidates shall be informed about the further recruitment phases. If you have any questions or doubts, please contact the project coordinator, Joanna Górka.
