The exhibition is the result of the 1st Biennial of Painting organized by the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin in cooperation with the Institute of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Arts at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University.
LUBELSKA WIOSNA is the only cyclical event of this type on the eastern side of the Vistula, aimed at promoting and supporting young artists working in the field of broadly understood painting. It does not impose restrictions in terms of subject matter, technique or painting convention. The exhibition will present the works of 36 finalists of the competition, selected by a group of experts.
