The Information Day is intended to ease your transition into university life and provide you with guidelines and tips on practical matters related to your stay in Lublin, such as:
- registration of residence,
- personal safety, rights and obligations under the Polish law,
- legalization of stay, obtaining residence permit,
- accommodation and residential life regulations,
- insurance & healthcare.
At the meeting you will also get a short insight to cultural life of Lublin, places worth visiting, as well as information on student traineeships opportunities in cultural institutions in the city.
Speakers will include representatives of the Lublin City institutions as well as non-governmental organisations providing support to foreigners: Lublin City Office, Municipal Police, The Rule of Law Institute Foundation, Homo Faber association.
Every participant will receive a welcome package. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
