Different faces of Finland

This Thursday (March 31) at 17.15 we invite you to a scientific session "Different faces of Finland". The speakers will be Dr. Magdalena Suchora (Department of Geomorphology and Palaeogeography UMCS), MSc Katarzyna Dobek and MSc Łukasz Bąska. The story of a corner of Europe full of lakes and peat bogs will be told by three geographers who are graduates of geography at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (2005). Different paths led them to the peripheral edges of Europe, and different faces of this country made them leave their hearts there. About partings and returns to the land of Suomi, stunning national parks, nature and people.

The lecture will be held in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Al. Kraśnicka 2D, first floor).
