PZU Medical Care – Insurance Extension until 30.06.2025

Dear All,
We would like to inform you that the current “PZU Medical Care” insurance policy, which is currently used by UMCS employees, has been extended by one month and will remain valid until the end of June 2025.
The continuation of this insurance enables the employer to subsidize the cost of the PZU Medical Care premium for UMCS employees from June 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025, at the level of the basic package (Standard Package), i.e., PLN 28.20 per month, based on the declarations previously submitted by UMCS employees.
As mentioned in the announcement dated May 7, 2025, PZU ZDROWIE terminated the terms of the “PZU Medical Care” insurance provided at the University since 2018, with effect from February 28, 2025. At our request, they agreed to extend the agreement until May 31, 2025.
As a result of selecting the offer from PZU Zdrowie in a competitive process for health insurance coverage for another 12 months starting from July 1, 2025, and in order to ensure continuity of the existing insurance for UMCS employees, we have negotiated with PZU Życie an extension of the current Medical Care insurance for an additional month – until June 30, 2025.
