Personal information

Economist, sociologist and political scientist. Also member of the Supervisory Coincil of CASE - Center of Social and Economic Research and till October 2021 chairman of the Board of Directors of CASE-Belarus. He took part in numerous research and advisory projects in Poland and other post-communist countries devoted to institutional reforms, privatization, corporate governance and international knowledge transfer. He's an author or co-author of more than 200 studies, reports and articles in English, Polish, Russian, and Bulgarian; more than 100 of them have been published, including 5 books.

Speaks Polish, English and Russian.


Scientific Activity

In 2021, he published the book State Corporate Control in Transition: Poland in a Comparative Perspective (Palgrave Macmillan). Presently, he's working on a chapter on varieties of capitalism in Central and Eastern Europe for The Oxford Handbook of Central and East European Management and Organizations (eds. Thomas Steger, Irma Rybnikova and Rainhart Lang, Oxford University Press).
