Personal information

I graduated in Chemistry (with the Rector’s Diploma for outstanding achievements) from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in 2005. In 2010 I received my PhD (obtained with Honors and PhD Thesis Award) from the same University, under the supervision of Prof. K. M. Pietrusiewicz. I gained scientific experience in the research department at Hoffmann - La Roche (Basel, 2009). Then in 2013-2014, I spend around two years as a posdoctoral fellow at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, under the guidance of Prof Alexandre Alexakis. In 2017, I was appointed to my present position at the UMCS, where I joined Prof. M. Stankevič’s group as an Assistant Professor.


Scientific Activity

My research interests focuses on the asymmetric synthesis; methodology development; homogenous and heterogenous catalysis; organocatalysis and organometallic chemistry.
