GOALS Summer School will create a forum to discuss phenomenon of transnationality, globalisation and integration in the contemporary world with  the special focus on the process of internationalization of local and regional pub;loc administration and governments as well as  transnational non-governmental actors. Participants will have opportunity not only to deepen their knoledge of international development cooperatiobut also acquire practical skills important international cooperation and development projects. The program of the Summer School includes not only academic lectures and discussions but also workshops, study visits, observation of good practices in actual international cooperation projects in Lublin city and region. PARTICIPANTS Summer School invites young people  (18-30 yrs. old) from POland, Ukraine and other countries in Eastern Partnership EU Porgram who are iterested inteoretical and practical aspects of international development cooperation. We especially look forward to participants who are young leaders and activists of non-governmental organizations and civil society, young local governments employers, students of political science, international relations and in other social sciences fields focusing on development cooperation in their studies and/or research, studentsa and doctoral students from Ukrainian universities which are partners of UMCS.

VENUE Majority of lectures and meetings will be held at Political Science Faculty Building,  (Pl. Litewski 3 w Lublinie)

FINANCES Organziers cover costs of participants stay in Lublin during teh Summer School ( UMCS Students Dorm, double occubancy rooms, 2 meals per day, learning materials, evening events included in the porgram). Participants cover costs of travel to Lublin as well as other costs (city transportation, free tome activities). 

LANGUAGES Part of the Summer School experience is its multilingality. Program will include events , meetings and lectures in Polish, Ukrainian and Englis. Language facilitators/translators will be present.

CERTIFICATES Certificates of participation will be issued to all attending the Summer School.
