Doors Open Day 2018

Doors Open Day at Maria Curie-Skłodowska Univeristy takes place on Friday, 09th March 2018, from 9.00 am at “Chatka Żaka”, the academic cultural centre of UMCS (Radziszewskiego 16, Lublin). Doors Open Day is a perfect opportunity to get a feel for studying at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. The event is designed to give prospective students the chance to experience student life and collect information about the programmes they are interested in. Visitors of Doors Open Day may expect a range of activities awaiting for them.

Education zone: Information sessions and presentations of educational offer by 12 university faculties

Student zone: Let’s be honest, the best thing about university studies is what happens outside of the classroom. Why don’t you get a gist of it and enjoy the first-hand experience of the student life. At information stands, you will have a chance to chat with the representatives of the Students’ Union, UMCS Academic Sports Association, Academic Legion and various student societies. There will also be plenty of activities, including presentations, quizzes, games, and much more.

Competence development zone: Career advice and guidance to help you make the right study choice and pick a programme that best matches your strengths and interests will be offered at the stands of the Office for Career Development and the Entrepreneurship Academy.

HI-TECH zone prepared by the Education Group 3.0 – robotics, programming, Internet security, modern technologies.
