Call for Applications within the Own Scholarship Fund of UMCS
We are pleased to announce a call for scholarship applications for the best students within the Own Scholarship Fund of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
Scholarships for the best students will be awarded in four categories:
1) Scholarship for academic excellence for:
first-year bachelor’s degree students and first-year students of long-cycle programmes
other students of bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and long-cycle programmes
2) Art scholarship;
3) Sports scholarship;
4) Scholarship for social engagement/community service.
This year a total of 35 scholarship places will be offered. Both Polish students and international students studying on a fee-paying basis may apply.
A scholarship, amounting to 2770 PLN, will be awarded for the duration of the academic year 2016/2017, paid in one instalment in the spring semester.
Applications shall be submitted from 4th to 18th January 2017, inclusive.
Applications shall be filed at the Office of Student Affairs of the Centre for Education and Studies Management, “Helios” dormitory, room 5, Monday-Friday, 10.00-14.00.
Scholarship grants will be funded by donation from the Bank Zachodni WBK S.A Stefan Bryła Foundation which supports higher education, scientific research and entrepreneurship.
