“Open Stage Metamorphoses”: A Song Contest For Foreigners

The Open Stage Metamorphoses is a song contest for foreigners living and studying in Poland. The Contest is organised by the Copernicus Graduates’ Association in Lublin along with the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures.

The second edition of the event will take place in Lublin betwen 6th and 7th April 2018 at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures. The initiative aims at promoting Polish music among international students and offers the possibility for mutual exchange of cultural experience.

Each contestants is required to prepare two songs: one in the participant’s native language and one in Polish (at least 75% of lyrics must be in Polish).  Both songs must be sung with a live accompaniment.

Submissions, including a completed Registration Card (entry form) and two songs performed by the entrant, should be sent to: openstage.metamorfozy@gmail.com

The deadline for submissions is 11th March 2018.

From all submitted entries, the jury will select finalists to perform live at the finale, held on 6th April 2018 at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.

Winners will receive a financial prize and will be invited to perform at the Festival Laureates’ Concert held on 7th April 2018.
