3rd Lublin Partner Cities Choirs Festival 2017

The third edition of Lublin Partner Cities Choirs Festival 2017 will take place in Lublin between 12th and 13th May 2017. Initiated by prof. dr hab. Urszula Bobryk, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at UMCS and the artistic director of Jadwiga Czerwińska Academic Choir, the festival features choirs from partner cities of Lublin coming together for a unique performance.

The festival’s objectives are to foster cooperation between musicians and to promote Polish choral music across countries. The initiative has provided the basis for cultural cooperation across borders. Successful organisation of artistic and cultural events at international level has helped to project a positive image of the city.

Since its first edition, the festival has been co-hosted by the Mayor of Lublin and the Rector of UMCS.
